Viajem por no Brasil.
well, this will be my first post here... even thought i ´ve never rode any other nomad post!
I was triyng to go to the AXLDS in Vitoria (AIESEC conference, starting 17*3 and ending 23/3)... but in the end, i think it was just an excuse for this trip.
a few days befor the conference started, we in the office still were looking for money to attend there... on the day 15 a company gave me a bus ticket for the firs part of the trip.... wich covered 1/3 of the trip... at that time began the friends-who-support-me-found-rasing-marathon and i get 200 U$ and 50 E$... this was to cover the resto of the tikets, for the FEE of the confeence i invest the rest of my salary at the MC from march till june... so i am basicly broke after this.
So i traveled on 16 to floripa, 26 hs by bus. Floripa was also an excuse for this trip, cuz i reaaly wanted to see some very close friends that i did not see in 2 and a half years! a lot of time for some friendships. On the same day i went to Sao Paulo (from now on on my expense) took a shower in this bus station (rodoviarias) and, as i had like 10 hours to take the other bus to vitoria, so i grab my backpack, left the rest of the lugage in the lockers and went for a mini selfguided city tour... some good things i´ve seen in two museuns, the MASP (they say maspi, so fun hoy brazilians pronounce this kind of words) it was pretty good, I got to see some artist that I´ve never had the chance to see, like Renoir, Monet, some others... I think it was an "impresionism" (?) exibition... and one other museum "Galeria de Arte do SESI", they have many plays (i was not going to be in town, and i can-t understand portugues anyways!) and a big exibition of a Portuguese guy, his paintings were very interestings in this way: at the begginings of his pains and arts, he belived on the art as a key that could lead to the understanding of the different cultures.. but as the time went by, and many wars happened, by this days he is beliving the the cultural understandig is not possible... his name is Jose de Guimarães.... Sao Paulo was left... and in the road, a lot of time to think... specially when traveling at night and by bus, you get to see all the the houses in the hills (morros), like favelas... they look like if the sky fell on them, all blacks and with millions of stars on the floor.. during this hours i get to think... what if Guimarães was right?... what if we can never understand other cultures? should be not a big deal... but it is. Specially to people that works in AIESEC!!
Besides all this things, since some moths i have a hurrican in my mind and soul, mainly two questions... why did i was born? (meaning, why did i chose this parents, why was i born with the facilities i have, and things like that), and what will i do with my life? (where will i go, in where will i work, where is my desteny, and will i ever reach it?)... this could be the main Qs in my mind and soul... unleashing hurricans, tornados, hearthquakes in me.... and this trip is, and the people i met here is helping me to figure this put...
allright! more from this in the next posts! you should wait for some fun stuff as well!
cheers! the newie LU!
This is some of Guimarães art! "la monalisa negra" :) enjoy!!!!!
